Project Scope & Initial Investment
First, we quantify the total development hours for all required features. This total is multiplied by the agreed-upon hourly rate. After deducting any potential discount, we determine the Total Initial Investment (the net development costs).
Cash Flow-Friendly Billing and Term
To optimize your cash flow, we deduct an agreed-upon Down Payment and Residual Value. The remaining amount is then divided over the chosen Term. This is not a loan or external credit; it is a method for spreading the investment as predictable, monthly operational expenses.
The All-in Service Subscription (Fixed Monthly Price)
The final monthly fee consists of two components—the Service Costs (Service, Hosting, and Maintenance) plus the monthly spread investment for the development. This is a fixed service subscription where all costs are included; there is no interest or credit charges. After the term, you only pay the service costs.

Can I choose a one-time payment (CAPEX) option as well?
Yes, absolutely. We offer maximum flexibility. You can also pay the Total Initial Investment directly or in agreed-upon project phases. In that case, you only pay the monthly Service Costs for hosting and maintenance, without the deferred investment component.
Is the Gidfy.io service subscription a loan or credit agreement?
No, absolutely not. The Gidfy.io service subscription is an operational agreement, similar to leasing business equipment or Software as a Service (SaaS). You do not incur debt or a loan. It is a fixed monthly operational expense (OPEX) that preserves your cash flow and keeps your balance sheet clean.
Are the monthly fees tax-deductible?
Yes. Since the development costs are spread over the service subscription, and this is not a loan, you can typically book the monthly fee as an operational expense (OPEX). This offers tax advantages compared to a large, one-time investment (CAPEX). Always consult your accountant for the exact fiscal implications for your specific business.
Can I adjust the term length of 1 to 5 years?
Yes, the term is flexible. You choose a period ranging from 1 to 5 years. If your business needs change, you can always pay off the remaining investment component early. This gives you full control over the depreciation.
What happens if I cancel or stop payments? And what are my IP rights?
Your agreement can be terminated at any time, the Exit Strategy is as follows:
1. Early Buyout: You pay off the remaining, unpaid portion of the original development investment.
2. Ownership Rights: Upon full payment, Gidfy.io transfers all Intellectual Property (IP) rights and copyright. The bespoke business logic and client-specific code become fully your property.
3. Without Buyout: If you stop payments or cancel without a buyout, the service provision will be terminated, and Gidfy.io retains the ownership rights, just like with a traditional service subscription.
